All appointments must be cancelled by or before 7:00pm the day before your appointment is scheduled to occur. If an appointment is not cancelled within the appropriate cancellation period, full lesson fees will apply. We ask that you let us know about a cancellation as soon as possible. To cancel your appointment, please contact your child's tutor. Please leave a message on his/her voicemail or send a text message. Messages time-stamped before 7:00pm the day before the scheduled appointment will be cancelled without financial penalty. Cancellations due to sickness or family emergencies will be rescheduled; no financial penalty will apply.

Inquires regarding your registration and curriculum will be communicated with the Administrative Office (afindlay@franklintutoring.com). Account and billing issues will be communicated through Bookkeeping (Jennifer.Hubb@franklintutoring). All other communication, including scheduling and student progress, will be conducted between the parent and the tutor.

If you are running late for your session, please inform your tutor immediately. Any session that begins late due to student tardiness will conclude at the scheduled time. Full lesson fees apply.

Registration fees are $75 - $400. Please see the Rate sheet to clarify your family rate. Travel fees are charged at the tutor’s discretion. Late payment fees are 15% of your invoice (see below).

Full-time students will be invoiced weekly. All other students will be invoiced monthly. Payments are due upon receipt. Payments can be made directly from the invoice, not through the tutor. Cash /checks are not accepted. Invoices not paid within seven days will be subjected to a 15% late payment fee.

At least one adult must be in the home during sessions. The parent will provide a quiet space with minimal distractions, a writing utensil and any necessary curriculum.

Homeschool Tutorial Sickness Policy: If your child is sick and unable to attend a scheduled class, you will not be charged for the missed session. To ensure fairness, the hourly rate for each session will be invoiced as usual. If your child misses a class due to illness, you may schedule a make-up session at a later date. The make-up session will be charged at the full hourly rate, as it will be a one-on-one or specially scheduled session.
